About Sadie

Sadie is officially ready for adoption. Crazy4Pawz saved Sadie from the shelter on June 3rd, when she was on the list to be euthanized. She is about 8 years old and weighs just 9 pounds. Since coming into rescue, Sadie has had a dental, spay and mastectomy, and she has made a wonderful recovery. She has definitely been quite an expense for our little rescue, but seeing her healthy, happy and ready for a home makes it all worthwhile. Sadie had her stitches removed on August 8th and has now been cleared for adoption. Do not let her age or size fool you. Sadie has a lot of energy. She loves to run around, explore and play, and she would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can stretch those little legs. She also knows how to use a doggie door. Sadie does well with other dogs, but large dogs scare her, so a home where she can feel safe and comfortable around appropriately sized canine companions would be best. Sadie has also been very fortunate to have a wonderful foster who cared for her throughout her recovery, took her to all of her appointments and made sure she had everything she needed along the way. Now that the hard part is behind her, Sadie is ready for what comes next: a family of her own.
