About Ginger

Meet Ginger a gorgeous red and white Australian Shepherd! She came to us in rough shape having had an infestation of ticks and her coat was in desperate need of a bath and grooming but after spending time with our groomer and foster friend, she is feeling much better and looking better too! Her main profile photo is of her after her bath and brush - so gorgeous! This girl came from a shabby breeder who did nothing to protect the dogs, therefore resulting in several from this one situation having heartworm disease. Fortunately for Ginger, she was rescued and started treatment right away to kill off the heartworm. She will need to be on a preventative for a while which is a monthly tablet to make sure she never has this disease again. Ginger is a sweet and loving dog and hoping to find a family that can look past her humble beginnings and make her a treasured family member.
