Winnie is an excellent guard dog and extremely loyal to her chosen people. I suppose true to her shepherding nature, she tends to nip at people's heels when they come into the house. She doesn't appreciate visitors to the house unless she has become used to them, and even then barks a lot until they sit down and then she wants to be petted. She will do best with someone who lives in a more rural area and doesn't get many visitors.
