Copper is ready to follow his nose... straight into your heart! This handsome 6-8 month old Yellow lab Coonhound mix was rescued from Smith County Animal Shelter and is now searching for the forever family he's always deserved. With his gorgeous golden coat, soulful eyes, and classic hound 'aroo,' Copper is impossible not to fall in love with. Copper is everything a puppy should be-curious, playful, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. He loves romping around with the other dogs in his foster home, tossing toys around the yard, and then curling up for snuggles after a day of fun. He's incredibly friendly with everyone he meets and has never met a stranger. This smart boy is already crate trained, doing great with house training, and rides wonderfully in the car. He's very food motivated (treats are definitely the way to his heart!) and learns quickly, making training a fun experience. He's still polishing up his leash manners-after all, those exciting smells can be hard to resist-but with a little consistency and patience, we're confident he'll master them in no time. Copper would love a home that enjoys adventures, playtime, and plenty of love. Whether it's hiking, exploring a new trail, playing fetch in the backyard, or simply being your loyal companion, Copper is ready to be by your side through it all.
