
Sparrow says, 'Hi, world!' Sparrow's story is what rescue is all about. This brave girl suffered severe injuries and head trauma, believed to have been caused by a person. Her skin had to be surgically reattached, and for two weeks, she barely moved except to eat and go potty. Then, almost overnight, Sparrow decided she wanted to live. That was the moment her beautiful personality began to shine. She is getting stronger every day, feeling good, and finally enjoying life. Sparrow quickly learned to potty outside and is also crate trained. She has never chewed anything in the house and is extremely well behaved indoors, although she occasionally tries to wake up Frieda by barking and asking her to play. Sparrow is playful, funny, and full of determination. She loves to run, play fetch, and enjoy nature walks without a leash.
