Meet Crystal Crystal is a beautiful 2-3-year-old American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix, approximately 45 pounds, and she is completely blind. Crystal's story is heartbreaking. She was found dumped in the woods after suffering blunt-force trauma to her head. One of her eyes was severely injured and bulging, and unfortunately, it could not be saved. Despite everything this girl has been through, Crystal is incredibly sweet, loving, and resilient. Crystal recently completed three weeks of professional training, and she has made wonderful progress. She can be around other dogs, although this is still a work in progress. We feel she would also do very well as the only dog in the home. Because Crystal is blind, she needs a safe, stable home with someone who understands her special needs and is willing to continue working with everything she learned during training. ��%90%BE About Crystal: - Age: 2-3 years old - Breed: American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix - Weight: Approximately 45 lbs. - Location: Cape Coral, Florida - Completely blind - Recently completed 3 weeks of professional training - Very sweet and loving - Other dogs may be okay with proper introductions, but it is still a work in progress - Absolutely NO cats - No small children - Experience with blind or special-needs dogs is strongly preferred - A calm, stable home would be ideal We are looking for either a foster-to-adopt or permanent adopter for Crystal. She has already been through more than any dog should ever have to endure, and now she deserves someone who will give her the patience, stability, and love she needs.
