Sam Winchester Someone threw Sam away. Now he's being raised like the treasure he is. Born around June 10, 2026, Sam and another tiny blue heeler puppy we named Dean were abandoned in a rural area long before they should have been separated from their mother. Thankfully, a kind person found the boys and got them to safety, and that's when The Comeback Pack stepped in. We named them Sam and Dean after the Winchester brothers from Supernatural because they'd already survived their first monster-the human who abandoned them. Today, Sam doesn't spend a second looking back. He's the kind of puppy who wakes up convinced that every day is going to be the best day ever. He loves people with his whole heart and has never met a stranger he didn't think might become his new best friend. He bounces from playing with toys, to wrestling with his canine friends, to climbing into your lap for a cuddle-all without missing a beat. Raised around other dogs and cats, Sam is wonderfully social and thrives on being part of the action. He doesn't just want to live in your home-he wants to be part of your family. Whether you're hiking, playing in the yard, teaching him new tricks, or relaxing on the couch after work, Sam wants to be right there beside you. What really makes Sam special isn't just that he's adorable-it's his outlook on life. He's happy. Genuinely, unapologetically happy. He's affectionate without being clingy, adventurous without being reckless, curious about everything, and one of those rare puppies who makes people smile almost the moment they meet him. Like all Blue Heelers (Australian Cattle Dogs), Sam is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. Heelers were bred to herd livestock by nipping at their heels-which is exactly how they earned their name. That instinct is part of who Sam is, and we want him to be celebrated for it, not misunderstood. He'll thrive with adopters who understand the breed and are committed to providing the training, structure, enrichment, and mental stimulation that heelers need. In return, you'll have one of the most loyal, entertaining, and devoted companions you could ever hope for. We expect Sam to mature to approximately 40 pounds. Because responsible rescue means preventing future unwanted litters, Sam must be neutered between 4 and 6 months of age. This requirement is non-negotiable and will be strictly enforced. His neuter is already included in his adoption fee. Because of this policy, preference will be given to qualified local adopters. We are located in Murrieta, California, although exceptional long-distance homes will certainly be considered. Sam's $400 adoption fee includes his age-appropriate puppy vaccinations, rabies vaccination, neuter, microchip, and a lifetime of unconditional love.
