About BEAUTY - NYC ResQ Dog

Adorable BEAUTY is in extreme danger at the cruel high-kill pound in New York City which is planning to kill her for convenience very soon. BEAUTY is a loving family dog who doesn't understand why her world disappeared overnight. This beautiful 4-yr-old/49lb brown brindle and white girl grew up surrounded by kids, toys, laughter, and another dog she loved. BEAUTY was a devoted, affectionate companion who followed her family everywhere and cherished the comfort of home. BEAUTY wasn't surrendered because she did anything wrong. She lost everything because her family's landlord said 'no pets.' Now she's trembling in a shelter kennel, scared, confused, and running out of time. Shelter life is breaking her. BEAUTY is used to gentle voices, loving hands, and the warmth of family. Instead, she clings to anyone who offers comfort because she's heartbroken, not broken. BEAUTY has only a day or two left, unless a foster or adopter gives her the safe, loving home she so desperately deserves. BEAUTY is friendly & social, loves to play, dog friendly, walks nicely on leash, knows commands, and loves being close to her people.
