About Copper

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Copper is a mature gentleman at about 11 years young and weighs about 40 lbs. He came in a bit thin and could still withstand gaining some more weight. He's a sweet boy who enjoys a good ear or rear-end scratch, but sometimes he's a bit aloof. He's met other dogs here and has done well with both males and females, but he will appropriately correct rowdy dogs. We are unsure of his history with kids or cats, but we hope he could do well with proper introductions. Copper doesn't let his age define him, he still has a lot of pep in his step and is always down for an adventure or walk. He's looking for a soft place to live out his golden years, are you willing to open your home and heart to this sweet senior fella?
