MARLEY DIES ON SATURDAY 8/8��%BD��%BDs��%BD��%BD�%A0��%BD Another handsome shepherd needs out by Saturday! Marley is estimated to be about 5 years old and arrived as a stray in May. This beautiful boy is a sweetie! We've had him out a few times and he's always been super friendly, and especially enjoys a good cuddle. The groomer who bathed and deshedded him said he loved being pampered and was patient during their grooming session! He's very treat motivated and seems to have been taught a few things by his previous owner. He's overall pretty chill in the yard, but does enjoy short games of fetch and romping around with toys. He'll even drop the ball all on his own for another throw. Marley has been in playgroup 11 times. He was fine his first 7 sessions, being described as tolerant some days and selective others, but not having any issues besides being sexually motivated (he's not neutered). Towards the end of June, he started to become more argumentative and assertive with the other dogs. He would pick fights and be hard to steer once he started. They started muzzling him, but since the behavior continued, they now just give him solo yard time. When we've had him out, he's been okay through the fence and walking on leash around other dogs, so it's not like he's super reactive to dogs in general, playgroup just isn't the right setting for him. It's best he go to a solo dog home for now unless dog savvy and able to safely separate and manage until further assessed once he's out of the stressful shelter & has had time to decompress. Marley is euth-listed due to his playgroup notes. He will be put to sleep on SATURDAY 8/8 anytime after 8AM. He's available for foster, adoption, and rescue. He's waiting at South Los Angeles Shelter. *The shelter opens at 11am on Sat, so adoptions must be done by Friday 5pm MARLEY #A2271224 5 yrs old, 98 lbs
