About Dallas

(DOB 01/28/2025)Don't miss out on Dallas! This sweet boy loves kids of all ages, dogs of all sizes, and cats. His favorite place is wherever his people are. He's house and crate trained, walks on a leash, and loves car rides...basically, he's ready to be your best new buddy! Because he is so social, he'd love another pup in the home because he enjoys daily chases and tug of war. Whether he's playing with his furry friends, joining you at work, curling up for a movie, or soaking up belly rubs, Dallas is happy being by your side. A fenced yard isn't required, but it may suit him better since he has high energy and loves being outside; a yard would be a fun bonus for playtime with a four-legged brother or sister. And if you don't have a fenced yard, he'd love to go on a run with you! Plan for 2-3 miles a day of exercise for this pup. He will need some consistent training reinforcement specifically for his strong desire to meet other dogs on walks. He is working on not pulling on the leash to get to the other dog to say 'Hi!'. Also, he can have a bit of a stubborn streak when he doesn't want to come inside or is barking at something. He's working on his recall so that he will remain safe in all circumstances. Continuance of these training needs will ensure happiness all around. Dallas is ready to bring a whole lot of love, fun, and companionship into your life. All he needs now is YOU! As part of Dalla's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
