Do you need a beautiful brindle pittie girl in your life? Sophia would like to volunteer! She's only around 7 months and approx 40 lbs. Sophia found herself terrified and dumped in a kennel in front of a high volume shelter in Houston with no ID and no note. We don't even know if she had a name %8F. The shelter staff decided she deserved a name and called her Sophia. Sophia quickly transformed from being a scared, submissive shelter girl to a very playful, happy girl in a foster home! She is so friendly, loving, eager, smart, and her eyes are more open every day about how big and amazing the world is. She is a very fast, agile girl who loves to run and fetch. And anything will do-even pinecones! But she also loves a good snuggle session and being close to her people. And don't forget the treats! Sophia is looking for a family that will keep showing her the better side of humanity and have patience for her puppy energy and training needs. She is a complete sponge and ready to learn! She is thriving with crate training and the predictability of a routine in a foster home and doing well interacting with other dogs. Sophia would love an active family to take her on adventures! Please apply for this healthy sweetheart; we know she is going to be an unforgettable, grateful best friend to the human(s) she gives her whole heart to. Sophia is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/sophia/.
