About Layla

Layla was found as a stray in Texas and only had hours left When we pulled her. She is a border collie cattle dog mix (best guess) and is a perfect medium size. She comes up just above the knees and weighs around 30 lbs. Layla has been in a home with dogs and does okay but she is dog selective and we think she would be happiest as an only dog. If you are looking for a jogging partner or someone to do outdoor activities with she will be the best! She loves her kennel and actually seeks that time out to calm. She loves to fetch and play with toys, and go for walks, but if you really want to win her over give her ice cubes and she will love you forever. The right owner will probably find their soul dog with her. Once she gets out of the puppy stage she will be an amazing companion. She does okay with potty training but we think she doesn't do well when other dogs are around. She is amazing with kids and people. She's not bothered by cats and just ignores them.
