About Whelping foster needed

*NEEDS NEW HOME BY 8/7/26** Zyria was sitting in the euthanasia room at a TN shelter and was saved just in time by a temporary foster. Her kennel mate had been adopted out so we wanted to give Zyria a chance. She is in a temporary foster home and we discovered she is pregnant and about to give birth. Zyria has been great with people and other dogs and reportedly was good with kids and cats in the previous home. We have not tested her with kids or cats in the foster home. Zyria is 3 years old, 55 lbs, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. She will be spayed prior to adoption. She may have had an old jaw injury as her tongue hangs out of her mouth at times. She doesn't appear bothered by it. Zyria is still learning her house-training and finally learned basic comnands. She will need s family to be patient with her as she adjusts to all new surroundings again. She needs a safe place to care for her puppies.
