Strawberry is an adorable 3-4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with the sweetest face, the cutest oversized ears, and a playful personality that's impossible not to love. While we're not entirely sure what she's mixed with, one thing is certain-this little girl is absolutely precious and has a way of making everyone she meets smile. Currently weighing about 18 pounds, Strawberry is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, around 4050 pounds when fully grown. She's still just a puppy, which means she's full of curiosity, playful energy, and excitement as she discovers the world around her. Strawberry came to ROOT Rescue after being surrendered by her family through no fault of her own. Although she's experienced a lot of change at such a young age, she has remained an incredibly happy, affectionate, and resilient puppy. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and is always ready for a game, a cuddle, or simply being by your side. If we had to describe Strawberry in a few words, we'd say she's goofy, playful, affectionate, and full of life. She has the funniest little personality and is always finding ways to make her foster family laugh. Whether she's zooming around the yard, chasing toys, or flopping over for belly rubs, Strawberry enjoys every moment and reminds us just how joyful puppies can be. Like any puppy her age, Strawberry is still learning. Her future family should be prepared to continue working on potty training, basic manners, and socialization. Puppies require patience, consistency, and structure, but the reward is a lifelong best friend. We believe Strawberry would thrive with an active family that will include her in everyday life. She'd love a home where she can continue learning, playing, and growing into the amazing dog we know she'll become. Whether you already have another playful dog or you're looking for your very first canine companion, Strawberry has the personality to fit into many different homes with proper introductions. Strawberry has been examined by our veterinarian, is up to date on her age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She is currently waiting for her spay appointment. If she is adopted before her scheduled surgery, her adopter will be required to bring her back to one of ROOT Rescue's partner veterinarians for her mandatory spay procedure, which is covered by the rescue. We are currently accepting applications from families interested in adopting Strawberry, as well as those interested in our foster-to-adopt program while she awaits her spay appointment. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to welcome her into their home while completing the final step of her veterinary care through ROOT Rescue. Strawberry truly is one of those puppies who steals your heart the moment you meet her. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the family who will give her the forever home she deserves. If you think Strawberry could be the perfect addition to your family, we'd love to hear from you! For more information, please email us at [email protected] or visit www.rootrescue.org.
