Hi, I'm Bentley! ��%BD��%BDͻ If you had met me a few months ago, you probably would have noticed my skin before you noticed my smile. My whole body was red, sore, itchy, and uncomfortable. I scratched until I cried because I didn't know any other way to make it stop. The amazing people here knew I deserved better, so they took me to a specialist and gave me all the care I needed. Now I'm finally feeling like the happy dog I was always meant to be! I'm still rocking a bit of a patchy look while my fur grows back (I like to think it's my unique style), but every day I'm feeling better and looking better. Soon I'll have a beautiful coat to match my beautiful heart. Speaking of my heart��%BD'��%BD|it's HUGE. I absolutely adore my people. If you're looking for a Velcro dog who wants to be your shadow, your best friend, your biggest fan, and your personal cheering squad, I'm your guy. I love belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddling on the couch, toys, treats, car rides, and just being wherever you are. Life is exciting to me, and I can't wait to share all of it with someone special. I'm still polishing up my potty training, so a home with a dog door would be amazing! I'd also do well with someone who's home often or can bring me along to work so I can keep learning and be close to my favorite humans. I've already overcome the hardest chapter of my life. Now all I need is someone willing to give me the happy ending I've been waiting for. I promise I'll spend every day showing you just how grateful I am. My past may have been heartbreaking, but I know my future is going to be filled with love. Could that future be with you? I can't wait to meet you and find out!
