About Susie

Meet southern belle Susie. Susie is a 2.5 year old Australian cattle dog/blue heeler mix originally from Alabama. She was rehomed and brought north to Pennsylvania. Her last owner didn't have the time or energy for her and was going to euthanize her himself. I took her in as a foster in April but I can't give her the safe space to run and the stimulation she desperately needs. She gets along great with other dogs and likes to cuddle up with them for nap time. She is spayed, weighs under 50 lbs, has her flea and tick treatment and is current on her shots. She's good with kids and adults, but can be skittish around males at first. She is fine with cats (she ignores my one and sometimes play chases the other). She has no bite history but is a bit of an escape artist if you aren't careful. She can be reactive when walking on a leash. She would do best with room to run and an active owner. As a breast cancer battler, I just can't give her what she needs and deserves. Who wants to give this sweet, sassy sprite a chance?
