Name: Bo Age: 10 years Breed: Bully Mixed Breed, 65 pounds Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Newberry County, South Carolina Bo's owner has developed an extreme allergy to Bo that have not been able to be controlled. They don't want to return him to the shelter for a possible sad ending. Vet Info: Bo is blind. The shelter shared no diagnosis and he has not seen a veterinary ophthalmologist that anyone knows of. Bo is up to date with his vaccinations, HW-, neutered and microchipped. Bo appears to be healthy other than a suspected kennel cough that he arrived with - gone now. Dog Info: Bo is very much loved by his adoptive family and the owner really wanted to keep him but they are unable to get the owner's severe allergic reaction to him under control. Owner has always had dogs, never had a reaction this severe. Owner does not wish to return him to the shelter - it is not a 'No-kill' facility. Bo took a few weeks to completely adjust to his new surroundings and family but he gets along with everyone, men, women, children of all ages, as well as both male and female dogs and cats. He also gets along with farm animals (goats, chickens, ducks, geese and peacocks! Bo is not possessive of anything, nor is he aggressive at all. Owner describes Bo as an absolute sweetheart and once he gets over the adjustment period he will make a wonderful companion. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
