HE DIES THURSDAY 8/6��s��٠� Heartbroken this week ���� ALL OF SOUTH LA's MOST RESILIENT, SWEET, AMAZING LONGTIMERS ARE SCHEDULED TO DIE simply because the shelter wants to clear kennels. D'Angelo is one of them ���z He lost his home and family when his owner died. The thought of this GOOD BOY now dying too simply for being overlooked in a sea of 200+ dogs under a department that can't even bother to advocate for their most resilient, steady, well behaved residents is devastating. D'Angelo has been waiting since December for someone to choose him. He is 3 yrs old, a regular in playgroup (has been in 41 times and consistently described as social and tolerant with other large pups but can sometimes be less tolerant of male dogs), was good during bathtime with the groomer, and is an absolute gem with his volunteer friends. He lost everything yet still he manages to keep a smile on his face and hope in his heart that he'll find a new forever home soon. D'Angelo recently went on a hike with a volunteer for a field trip and he did great! He was calm in the car, nonreactive toward people, animals (dogs, lizards, geese, and ducks!), and a friendly engaged boy during his entire outing. He now will die on THURSDAY 8/6 anytime after 8AM if a hero doesn't come for him. This cannot be how his story ends. This GOOD BOY DESERVES TO LIVE! He is available for foster, adoption, or rescue.
