The Beer Litter Needs Foster or Adopter Homes by August 15 to Secure Their Ride to Wisconsin The Beer Litter is currently in a high-intake kill shelter in Georgia after being surrendered as an unwanted litter. These six adorable puppies need foster or adopter homes to secure their spots on Mutt Life Dog Rescue's transport to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Saturday, August 15. A committed home is required for them to make the trip, and we're hoping the right families are out there waiting for them. Meet the Beer Litter Introducing Hazy, Stella, Corona, Leinie, Miller, and Guinness! These six puppies are as sweet as they are adorable. The Beer Litter is made up of four females (Hazy, Stella, Corona, and Leinie) and two males (Miller and Guinness). They are Lab/Aussie mixes (breed is our best guess!) with the cutest faces, soft puppy coats, and personalities that are sure to make anyone smile. After an uncertain start, these puppies are ready for a fresh beginning. Despite being surrendered as an unwanted litter, they are happy, friendly puppies who love attention, enjoy playing with each other, and are excited to discover everything the world has to offer. Each puppy has their own unique personality, but they all share the same lovable puppy traits curious, playful, affectionate, and eager to be part of a family. Whether they are chasing toys, learning new things, or curling up for a nap after a day of fun, these pups are ready to bring lots of love and laughter into their forever homes. At this age, they are just beginning to learn all the important puppy skills and will need families ready to continue working on potty training, crate training, leash manners, and socialization as they grow. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option.
