Meet Melly, an adorable one-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 6.5 pounds who is looking for a loving Forever Home This tiny girl has a huge personality and an even bigger heart! Melly's favorite place to be is curled up in your lap, and she will happily follow you from room to room just to be near her favorite person. She loves her toys and enjoys carrying them around and playing throughout the day. Melly can be a bit of a picky eater, but her charming personality more than makes up for it. Melly's journey hasn't been an easy one. When she arrived at the rescue, she had a completely shattered leg. Thankfully, surgery was able to repair the injury with the placement of a plate, and she has been recovering beautifully. Through it all, Melly has remained sweet, loving, and devoted to the people who care for her. Melly is almost housetrained and continues to make great progress with consistency and patience. Her adoption donation is $400, which covers her spay, vaccinations, and microchip, and she is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention to ensure she stays healthy and happy. She is currently in a foster home, so an approved application is required prior to a meet and greet.
