MAGGIE, a lovable 40lb Shepherd mix puppy no more than a year old, was rescued from a severely abusive 'home' in rural Texas several months ago, and has been recovering and even thriving in a loving foster home ever since. Aside from some initial shyness with new people and situations, MAGGIE has proven to be remarkably resilient, showing no signs of trauma from her earlier neglect and abuse. MAGGIE loves everyone she meets: strangers, kids, other dogs and even cats, too. MAGGIE, who would make the ideal family dog, loves to run and play as much as she loves to cuddle with her loved ones on the couch.
