About Shakti

Shakti is a deeply loved Great Pyrenees with a sweet, gentle spirit and a heart as big as she is. She joined our family last October, and unfortuntely, our circumstances have changed in ways we couldn't have anticipated. We are preparing to sell our property and downsize and have come to the difficult realization that Shakti deserves a life with more space and stability. This became especially clear after Shakti was bitten by a rattlesnake and nearly lost her leg. Thankfully, she is a strong lady and has made a full recovery, but watching her heal while confined to the small yard made us see just how much she needs to roam. Shakti would be best to live with other dogs, animals, and a family to play with. She is such a special, loving, loyal, girl and deserves a forever home where she can be safe, happy, and fully herself.
