About Luca

LUCA is an absolutely beautiful pure-breed Golden Retriever who is 4 years old and weights 65 pounds. He's such a sweet boy who we just took into our rescue because his Mom is elderly and very sick so she can no longer take care of him. There are no family members who can adopt him but we have promised to find him a wonderful and new loving home. He had 2 doggie siblings who have been re-homed and a cat (who is still looking for a new home). He's now with one of our loving Foster families and although he's missing his family, he's adjusting and eating well and playing with his foster siblings. Luca is exactly what you'd expect from a Golden....he's loving, sweet and everyone's best friend! He gets along great with other dogs and cats too. His Foster Mom says he's the sweetest boy, he's smart, gentle and has a mellow energy level. She says he will be the perfect 'family dog'! He likes to play but likes to be near his Foster Mom too....probably because he's missing him Mom. He's healthy, up to date on his vaccinations and totally house-trained. He's just about perfect!
