About Adams

Hi, my name is Adams! I am a sweet, loyal 9-month-old Lab / Rat Terrier mix looking for an active and dedicated home. I was rescued back in March from Baytown Animal Services. I am neutered and fully up to date on all of my vaccinations. About Me: Total shadow and major cuddler-I love to snuggle in bed at night! Great with kids (I do great with a 7-year-old) and love playing with other dogs (I currently live with a full-grown female pit bull). I know my name, 'sit', and 'stay'. What I Need Work On: I am still working on potty training and need a consistent daily routine. Like any high-energy puppy/terrier mix, if I get bored, I love to chew! I need durable chew toys, daily exercise, and active supervision. I can be a bit shy/timid around some adults at first and need a patient environment to build my confidence. Reason for Rehoming: We rescued Adams hoping he would be a great fit, but he has bonded almost exclusively with one person while staying timid around others in the house. Between his high energy and his need for consistent 1-on-1 training, our household dynamic isn't the best match for him right now. We want to make sure he goes to a home where he can get the focus, structure, and active outlet he deserves. Rehoming fee: $250.
