This sweet boy was surrendered to us by a coworker, he is potty trained and crate trained, we have two cats as well as a senior dog who unfortunately does not get along with him (he's just old and cranky). We recently had a baby and he has been showing some aggression towards my wife so we unfortunately do not feel comfortable with him around our baby, he is great with others we have had people pet sit with no complaints. Most people are surprised when I mention the aggression. It's quite minimal but I believe it started with our neighbors dog attacking him and my wife being 6mos pregnant at the time and the only person home, she was unable to pull the other dog off of him and that night he started to be wary of her and growl/nip and not allow her to feed him or come near his cage/toys. Other than this he is great and sweet and has a lot of energy. He's a great walker, however he does have what I believe to be luxating patella, which is we're both knees will sometimes pop or dislocate, it's very easy to fix by just massaging his knees and letting him move around. He knows what this is and will let you help him they don't always hurt but there was once where it hurt him quite a lot. We unfortunately do not have the means to get surgery on them. He also needs to be properly introduced to other dogs but still plays and loves other people and adores children and animals despite the attack, it truly breaks our hearts that this happened and we've been trying to work with him but with our little girl crawling and walking we must find another home for him and would very much prefer to avoid shelters that would euthanize such a young sweet soul. We reached out to the humane society who told us to euthanize so we've been trying to find a home for him ourselves for a year now with no luck. We have toys and leashes and a crate and can provide a 'fostering' for now, we just want to give him the best chance at a good home. Please text me I will most likely not see the email. Thank you!
