About Teddy

Meet Teddy Teddy is an adorable 10 - 12-week-old-puppy. He is a roly poly bundle of sweetness. He is foster right now. Our foster says that Teddy is a pretty perfect puppy. For one so young he is crate trained. He loves his crate. Teddy is great with the other dogs in the home. He is also able to entertain himself by chewing on a bone and playing with toys. He's very smart and is a pleaser. Teddy has also learned to walk well on a leash and enjoys sniffing and exploring. A fenced yard will be a must for this cute boy. Teddy is learning to live in a home, which is a real plus to help make his transition into his forever home that much easier. Teddy is small for his age. We don't know what his breeds are, Maybe black mouth cur/lab mix, but it seems he'll be on the smaller side. This handsome little pup with the warm brown eyes, adorable ears and gorgeous coloring is a gem. If you are looking to add a young puppy to your heart and home, Teddy is a keeper. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
