About Jasper

We have owned Jasper for 10 years after a friend brought him from the country of Qatar in 2016 when he was two years old. He loves the kids and is a loyal dog but in the past several years, we have had issues with him killing cats and chickens. Over the past several years, he has turned into a roamed and he has his favorite neighbors to visit. He formerly could not jump out of pens, but at 12 years old he learned how to do that! He can find any crack or crevice and get out if he can (can bend metal and wood off of fences). He has an extremely skinny neck and sometimes pulls out of his collar or harness, making it difficult to keep him contained. My children love him and we are heartbroken that we need to find a new home for him, but we can no longer keep him contained. He has been picked up by animal control and is currently in their possession because we are not able to keep him contained. He was an indoor dog when we got him and was house trained, but he has been an outdoor dog for the past ten years. So his current house training status is unknown.
