She is clearly having the best time finally getting to dress up and spoil a little girl. It is absolutely adorable! LILY is a gorgeous Chihuahua mix who is about 1 to 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. LILY is an incredibly sweet, gentle and passive little girl. She gets along beautifully with other pets and once she feels comfortable, she loves to snuggle and play with her dog (and human) friends. Right now, LILY seems most comfortable with women and is still learning that men can be safe too. She is making wonderful progress, and we know with a little more time her confidence will continue to grow. She is very meek and mild, making her an easy companion to have around. She is also learning to walk on a leash, and we know that will come naturally as she becomes more confident. We think LILY would thrive in a home with another kind, gentle dog who can help her feel secure and show her the ropes. She is content relaxing in her crate and has a fairly low energy level for her age, but we are already seeing her playful personality begin to shine as she settles in. We are looking for a calm, patient, and loving home for this special little girl. LILY had been adopted directly from the shelter by an elderly woman who sadly was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Just a few months later, LILY found herself in need of rescue once again. Now it is finally LILY's turn to find the a forever home where she can truly exhale, feel safe and be loved for the rest of her life. Located in private foster in CT.
