Hi there! I'm King, a 5-year-old, 14-pound chocolate Shih Tzu boy with a heart as big as my name�'�| and yes, my adorable little tongue is almost always sticking out! It makes everyone giggle. I'm an easygoing little guy who just wants to be where my people are. Whether we're running errands, taking a walk, or relaxing at home, I'm happiest by your side. I'm great in the car, walk nicely on a leash, and make an excellent companion for all of life's adventures. When we're home, you'll usually find me snuggled up nearby or happily entertaining myself with a toy. Squeaky toys are my absolute favorite! I get along well with most other dogs, do well with kids, and simply ignore cats. I also tend to graze on my meals instead of gobbling them all at once�'�|I only have a few teeth left. I would love a family where someone is home most of the time and maybe have a doggie sibling. I'm crate trained and sleep in my crate at night - it does take me a few minutes to settle in and then I sleep throught the night. I'm also still working on my house-training, so I'll need a patient adopter who can keep me on a consistent schedule. I am a smart boy and learning fast!
