About Thor

Thor is a long-haired German Shepherd, about 6 years old, and blind as a result of leishmaniasis. He currently lives with another shepherd in a second residence; the owners live elsewhere 9.5-10 months of the year, only stopping by once a week or so to put down food. Despite this, he is a sweet, calm, and gentle dog, with a gentle nature and trust in people. Thor needs a home that sees who he really is: a loving, sensitive, and grateful dog who deserves safety, routine, and affection and appropriate care for his chronic illness. We are looking for a committed adopter who can give Thor the safe environment, structure, and love he needs to thrive.
