About Root Beer Float-CUTIE!

The shelter is often full, which leads to some perfectly wonderful dogs being euthanized for lack of space!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot. Root Beer Float arrived at the shelter on July 22nd as an owner surrender. Is only about 13 months old. He is somewhat afraid of the shelter environment, which is not surprising, considering his age and now no longer has his people who he bonded to. Also looks stressed, possibly from being caged up almost 24/7, as the breed's tolerance for such is lower than many other breeds, which adds an additional risk of being euthanized for mental distress. He does take comfort in being petted by the volunteers. Very pretty doggie. Please, if have experience with 'working' breeds, who need proper exercise and mental stimulation, or able to provide such to him, besides a loving home, email to arrange meeting this cutie, who is just a baby!!!
