About Mango

Mango is a sweet, active and cuddly 2-year-old spayed female, 36 lbs and healthy. She was rescued as a starving puppy from a beach in the Philippines, nursed back to health, and after a year of vet care and immigration clearance, made it to Long Beach - where we've been caring for her and getting her ready for her forever family. She's housebroken, very smart, and eager to please, so she picks up training fast. She loves walks, the beach, and playing with other dogs (she prefers smaller ones). She can be skittish around heavy traffic, skateboards, and dark garbage cans, and occasionally piddles when excited or nervous - something she's outgrowing with patience. A calm home with a yard would be ideal. Above all, she wants to be held, petted, and loved. We're committed to her future: if it ever doesn't work out, we will take her back, no questions asked.
