About BENSON

Benson is a new addition to the rescue but ready for his forever family! He is 4 years old and 17-18 lbs, neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. Benson came to us because his (human) mom died and the family dynamic has changed and life has been hard for the rest of the family. Benson initially can be a bit defensive with dogs he does not know but could live with one other well matched friend his size though would also LOVE to be an only child. He is not a fan of larger dogs. Benson walks nicely on a leash is doing well with the potty routine and reported as being housebroken at his original home. He is not really a fan of the crate but can manage for short periods. He is not an excessive barker so also might do ok in a condo or townhome. Benson is sweet and affectionate with people of all ages and has lived with children. He has the softest most beautiful coat!
