This sweet senior recently underwent emergency surgery to remove an intestinal obstruction and now desperately needs a safe, quiet place to rest and recover. Blueberry has already been through so much. He was heartbreakingly surrendered to the shelter by his family, but thankfully our rescue was able to save him and get him out of that frightening, uncertain environment. Despite everything he's endured, Blueberry remains playful, affectionate, and walks beautifully on a leash. He is crate trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. Blueberry previously lived with children and is reported to do well with other dogs when introduced properly. He also seems to love a nice bath followed by a cozy snuggle with his people. Even after losing the only family he knew, Blueberry continues to put his best paw forward. He truly is the sweetest boy, and he deserves a loving home where he can heal, feel safe, and spend his golden years surrounded by love.
