About Axel

We received Axel when he was just a puppy, around September of 2025. He came from a local litter with very little information, we were told he's a mix of black lab and pit bull, but that has never been confirmed. He is full of energy and gets along with the kids in our home, 11, 7, 5 and 3. Now for the reason we are looking to re-home our dog. Axel has a chewing problem, which has now resulted in two significant holes in our living room carpet down to the wood underneath. We have given him toys to chew on but he tends to destroy them rather quickly. Unfortunately, where we live doesn't allow for dog houses or keeping dogs outside for extended periods of time so we keep him in a dog crate overnight and this is when/where he creates the holes in our flooring. I believe Axel will be better served in a home where he is able to be outside more often, possibly full-time (big yard, woods, farm even).
