Looking to rehome our mixed shepherd Fergus. He is about 2 years old, is crate trained, prong collar trained, walks well on leash. He is fixed, house broken. He loves to play with other dogs his size. He would do best in a home with much older children no small dogs, birds that fly freely in home or small critters due to his high prey drive. He can be a rough and tumble guy. He can be high energy, but he also loves to cuddle up on couch with his family. He is up to date with vax and yearly vet visits. He is healthy, takes simparico trio for protection. He would do best in a home that is well versed in the breed german shepherd. He does have separation anxiety, and fear aggression tendencies. He has on occasion nipped kids, and is weary of strangers in the home. We did have him trained professionally, but we have young kids running in and out of my home, which seems to make him nervous. Recently he did bite one of the kids on the butt, which has lead me to make a difficult decision. I can not adopt a second dog. He will do well if another dog his size is with him. We have kenneled him and he is reported as being a different dog when he is socializing with dogs his size.
