About Freddie

Meet Freddie who is the sweetest boy and will be a wonderful family dog! He's just over a year old and fully grown at 65 pounds. We think he's a Lab and Hound mix although he's calmer and quieter than both those breeds. He has a beautiful coat and the softest eyes that will just melt you so he may have some German Shorthaired Pointer in him too. The only thing we know for sure is he's a 100% great pup! He's loves to play with other dogs and is on the mellow side when he's playing...always respectful and friendly. We also tested him with cats and he was fine. He's living with a great Foster family on Long Island and they say he's so easy to live with. He loves to play with his foster doggie siblings and walks great on a leash. He listens well and just wants to be loved and included in everything that's going on. Here's some other helpful info they shared about him: * Super friendly and loves everyone he meets; great with kids * Plays lovely with dogs of all sizes * Passed his cat test with flying colors * Loves to go for walk in the neighborhood and walks well on a leash (ask us for his video) * Smart boy and eager to learn and please - he loves being told he's a good boy even more than getting treats! * Happy and loves being with his peeps & playing and hanging out in the backyard * Quiet and knows how to decompress and relax after playing with his friends. We're looking for a loving family for Freddie who will cherish him forever. We think he would love a doggie sibling but would do great as a single pup with an active family. He'd thrive living in a suburban area with a fully fenced yard. He's healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations and neutered.
