About Buck

Buck is a gentle 4-year-old, 78-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix with a beautiful beige coat, a super sweet personality, and a heart of gold. Although he's a bit underweight and certainly needs to gain a few pounds, what Buck needs most is someone who'll give him the love and stability he's been missing after his owner could no longer care for him. Buck gets along well with other dogs and is a favorite in our shelter playgroups. He loves going for walks and responds well to corrections, but he's still learning the basics, as it's clear no one has ever really invested the time to teach this big boy all he deserves to know. Everyone at the shelter loves Buck and can clearly see what an incredible companion he'll make for someone lucky enough to find him.
