About Rodan

Meet Rodan! At just 5 months old, Rodan is up to date on his vaccinations, pending his neuter, and mostly kennel trained. Rodan has been living in a home with kittens, a toddler, and other dogs and has settled into family life remarkably well. After spending the beginning of his life surviving on the streets, he's learning the routines of being a house dog. He's working on potty training and still has a few survival habits to overcome, including scavenging and some food guarding, but he's making steady progress with consistency and patience. Unlike his brother, Rodan is perfectly content wearing his collar and is happy to trot alongside you on his adventures. He's the calmer of the two and has a more independent personality. While he enjoys affection and spending time with his people, he's also perfectly happy entertaining himself, exploring the yard, or finding a quiet shady spot to relax. One of his favorite pastimes is cooling off in the kiddie pool before stretching out for a nap. Rodan would thrive with a family that appreciates a puppy who's a little more laid-back and enjoys doing his own thing. He's proof that even dogs with a rough start can blossom into wonderful companions when they're given patience, kindness, and a safe place to call home.
