About Rowdy

Rowdy is an approximately 6 year old border collie. He is neutered, is up to date on shots, completely house trained, and is also fully e-collar trained. He needs a new home asap where he is the only dog. He truly is an amazing dog and would love a family who wants a couch friend, but also the occasional hiking partner. He also does love ball, and will play frisbee as well. Super loving and outgoing, and just wants to please. I would keep if I could give him what he wants, and he is super easy going in the house loose when you are home. I do want clarity here that in any thunderstorm he will completely loose his mind and his anxiety goes through the roof. He will start to possibly tear into anything he can get his mouth on, including most brands of kennels. He needs a home where when you let him out you don't have any windows or screen doors at his height as there will no longer be a screen on that door or window. He is a well behaved dog and is phenomenal on the ecollar, which makes it easy when walking him or letting him outside as he will stick around and not get in trouble. He does amazing with children, has been good with cats (lots of work put into him with cats to avoid the death of them), and is usually good with other dogs with the ecollar so I can make sure he is just set up for success. I did walk him with other dogs with a prong collar and ecollar and did amazing. He would prefer to be the single dog and run loose in the home. When you leave the home he would have to be kenneled outside because he would unfortunately tear into stuff when everyone is gone, and same goes for the car to be on the safe side. Please feel free to message with questions. My reason for rehoming is due to me not able to give him the life style he would excel in which would be freedom in the house. He must get a new home by August 10th.
