About Georgie

Georgie is a 9-month-old/9 pound purebred Miniature Poodle looking for a loving forever home. He is incredibly affectionate, intelligent, and happiest when he's with his people. He is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is healthy overall. He has a minor Grade 1 luxating patella, which our veterinarian is not concerned about and believes he may outgrow. Georgie is still working on house training and will need continued patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. He forms a very strong bond with his primary person and would thrive with someone who is home much of the day. Another friendly, confident dog would be a wonderful companion and help build his confidence. Georgie can be nervous in unfamiliar situations and may bark or growl when he feels intimidated. He is looking for a patient owner who understands sensitive dogs and is willing to continue helping him build confidence. Experience with poodles or anxious dogs is preferred. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but we know Georgie deserves a home that better matches his personality and needs. Our only goal is to find him a loving, committed family where he can thrive for the rest of his life. If you think you may be the right fit for Georgie, we'd love to hear from you. Georgie is not being sold to be used for breeding, but as a pet. A 90-day neuter commitment must be signed in order to adopt Georgie.
