URGENT FOSTER NEEDED - PLEASE HELP CLEMENT! Just look into those beautiful eyes...This is Clement, a 5-year-old sweetheart who looks like a Boxer/Terrier/Staffy mix. Behind that adorable face is a story no dog should ever have to live. Clement was starved and severely neglected. He became so desperate to quiet the pain of an empty stomach that he ate a corn cob, hoping it would make the hunger go away. Instead, it nearly cost him his life. He has undergone emergency surgery to remove the corn cob and is now recovering in the ER. The heartbreaking part? After everything he's been through, Clement still loves people. He still looks at us with hope in his eyes, believing someone will finally show him the kindness he's always deserved. The Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) is ready to save Clement-but they URGENTLY need a committed, reliable foster home before they can pull him from the shelter. Approximately 5 years old. Medium energy. Reportedly good with other dogs (proper introductions required) Because of the trauma he's endured, a home where he can recover as the only dog would be ideal.
