'Lokie Age: 6-9 months Color: Black Height: Medium Weight: 55lbs Hi! I'm 'LOKIE Well I never thought I would be in this situation, I am young and really don't know what to say, I am still reeling from what happened at my home I used to have. My Dad was helping this lady and her daughter because they had no place to go, kind of like how he helped me and all my brothers and sisters when we had no place to go. The lady had a mean husband that was released from jail and found out where she was and came and stabbed my dad to death. we all got separated and the animal control people came and took us all away, we were all so terrified, anyway my dads best friend came and got us all out of animal control, everyone got placed with friends or family, there was 6 of us including me- so Lady and I are staying at my dads friends but he lives below his business and cannot keep me, He does tattoos and I am not supposed to be on premises, so the rescue friend he has is helping me, I still need to get fully vetted but we are working on that, I really had no idea how many dogs need so much help, I really just need a Foster home or an adopter of course we all want a forever family, I came from nothing like most of us, then I found my dad, and we had such a great family, I really hope I can have a real home again, maybe you are my new family? maybe you wouldn't mind if I could just hang on your couch while I'm waiting on the family I know is out there somewhere that can understand I may need some extra time and attention, but you know what? just like my dad I choose to smile and keep the faith. I know sit, and take treats ever so gently, I am crate trained, Potty Trained I also don't try to bolt out of the door, I just need someone to love me and make me feel secure again, and kids are awesome because I am one too! and I lived with 5 other dogs so I know how to share and have respect!
