Meet Kai! ��%90%BE Kai is a gorgeous, almost 3-year-old Belgian or Dutch Shepherd mix who is the absolute perfect size at a compact 38 pounds! True to her breed, she is smart as a whip, alert, and incredibly attentive. Kai absolutely loves people and is looking for a confident leader who understands her intelligent working-dog mind. She thrives on structure, listens beautifully, and constantly looks to her human for praise and guidance. Kai is already fully house-trained and crate-trained, making her a wonderful, clean housemate. Because her foster has not been able to work with her leash work or social skills, Kai is currently working on her leash manners and has some initial high energy when she first encounters new people and animals. Anyone considering her should take this into account so she can have a fair assessment and warm up properly at her own pace. Kai would do amazing in an active home, making a great running partner or agility training partner! She is deeply loving and has been waiting for so long after surviving such a brutal start to life.
