About Buford

Buford is a calm, gentle soul with a heart full of love. At around a year old, this big, handsome boy has an exceptional personality and the kind of easygoing demeanor that makes everyone fall in love with him. Before coming into rescue, Buford was abandoned in the countryside and left to fend for himself. While trying to survive, he developed a taste for a local chicken farmer's flock-which, understandably, means we'd recommend a home without chickens! Despite everything he's been through, Buford has remained incredibly sweet and trusting. He can be a little cautious in new situations, but he warms up quickly once he knows he's safe. He's wonderful with people, does great with other dogs, and enjoys spending time with kids. If there are cats in the home, slow and structured introductions will set everyone up for success.
