About Roscoe

Meet Roscoe, who comes to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Roscoe is a 3.5-year-old, 55 lb., Coonhound mix. He was down to his last 24 hours before being put down, and a foster family of ours lovingly took him into their home. Roscoe is incredibly sweet, well-behaved, loves kids, other dogs, and is full of life. He is thriving in his foster home. He's now housetrained, crate trained and has learned so many good manners. Shelter life was hard on him, but since we pulled him, he's now calm, loving, and clearly happy to be out. We do feel that he perhaps has a form of canine autism (this has not been diagnosed), as he can sometimes show sensory overreaction, but this is not a negative thing because he is so well-behaved. Roscoe is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you would like to meet this happier than life fellow, please reach out to us for an application.
