About Dixie

This lovely red girl is Dixie. She is a petite girl who weighs 30 pounds and is about 4-5 years old. Dixie knows several basic commands, including: Sit, Stay, Come, Paw, and Eat. She is very smart and enjoys learning. She is also house and crate trained. Dixie is a gentle girl who is sometimes shy around new people. She continues to gain confidence every day in her foster home and recently enjoyed a road trip to Palm Springs where she enjoyed pets from new people. Dixie does very well with both large and small dogs. She has a sweet, submissive personality and enjoys the company of other dogs. Dixie is good on leash and off leash. She enjoys couch time with her people after a day of fun. She is smart, affectionate, submissive, and incredibly deserving. Someone with just a hint of patience at the start will see her really blossom into a fantastic off leash adventure partner. Dixie is spayed, microchipped, started on puppy vaccines. She is located in Barstow, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
