About Sadie

Looking to possibly rehome this sweet girl. Her name is Sadie and she is a 9 month old border collie mix. At 26 lbs she is the perfect small/medium sized dog. She is very smart, funny, cute, and cuddly. She loves all people and is fully crate trained. She does great at the vet. She is dog reactive, lunges towards dogs and barks sometimes but we have been working diligently on this with a +R trainer and she has shown improvement. When getting her, we were told that she was great with dogs and her fosters both had several dogs that she got along with so we suspect that it is frustration based emotions and that it is trainable. Her reactivity is something that I would love to have time deal with further but unfortunately I am nearing the end of my funds to support a dog trainer and I work full time, am preparing to move graduate school, and do not have ample time to dedicate to training. She is a wonderful dog and I think she will make an incredible companion to people who have the time and resources to invest in her future.
