About Coronado

Coronado is very friendly and loves to be near people. He will follow you around the house, laying near you whenever possible. Being petted is one of his favorite things, and he actually enjoys being brushed. He has not been tested with children during the time I have had him, I don't know how he gets along with kids. He's gentle, sweet and very rarely barks. He gets around great and does not seem like he is 11-12 years old as estimated. His age has also been estimated at 8 years old. Chances are he falls between those two ages. : ) Coronado loves walks and does great on leash. He can walk 1-2 miles with no problem. He enjoys playing fetch with a ball, and prefers to play inside the house. He does not get onto furniture, even though I allow it. Seems his previous training was 'no furniture.' Coronado is hard of hearing, but fortunately he is very well behaved and doesn't require much direction. He is neutered with all shots, his teeth were cleaned 3/17/26. Housebroken with no accidents. The ONLY reason I need to rehome him is that he does not get along with my other dog. He is dominant and makes my dog nervous and afraid to move freely around her house. I honestly believe that Coronado would be happier in a home with more people and/or more visitors than I have. He loves human attention. He prefers men to women, but is absolutely fine with women. If he has a choice, he's choosing the man. : ) I am trying very hard to prevent him from ever needing to be in a shelter again. I am committed to finding him the happy home he deserves. Coronado was found as a stray on 12/28/25 with no tag/chip. I adopted him 1/3/26 so his history before that is unknown. Please contact me to find out more about this sweetie!
